I’m a Sr. Director of Experience Design at Expedia Group where I lead the B2B Content Design team, partner on strategic design initiatives, and build AI travel tools.

In 2017, I founded the Content Design practice at Zendesk and before that I worked on the Growth team at Meta.

I share my thoughts on writing and design in Smallish Book newsletter , on conference stages around the world, and for UX podcasts .

Besides writing, I like to illustrate books and comics—here’s one for the NYT. I was also a Google Artist in Residence in 2020.

On a scale of vibes I’m a mix between a redwood tree and those flappy balloon people outside of carwashes. My favorite book is whichever book I’m currently reading. My favorite sandwich is a turkey club.
